A popular singer-songwriter is set for a rare South West show next month after releasing his latest new album.

James Morrison will take to the stage at Bristol’s O2 Academy, in Frogmore Street, on March 29.

Morrison shot to fame in 2006 with his debut album Undiscovered – which reached the top of the UK album chart and featured popular singles You Give Me Something and Wonderful World

He achieved follow-up success with his second record, Songs For You, Truths For Me, which reached number three, and The Awakening became his second number-one album in 2011.

Morrison has not toured for three years, but he will be back on the road in the spring to showcase hits from his new release You’re Stronger Than You Know.

The concert will start at 6.30pm.

Tickets, priced £32.85, are available from the box office on 08444 772000 or online at www.academymusicgroup.com/o2academybristol
