DIRTY rock and roll will fill a live music venue in Portishead as the band Lakota takes to the stage.

Fronted by Portishead singer, James ‘Charlie’ Childs, who in the 1990s formed popular local band Airbus, Lakota will play
at Portishead Workmans Club on Saturday at 8.30pm.

Lakota members’ musical bond comes from many years of playing in their respective bands, sometimes together in the California desert cities, Los Angeles and also on several European tours.

Their self-titled debut album is filled with dirty rock and roll and every track was recorded live with minimal overdubbing.

Entry is free for members but £3 for non-members of the Slade Road club.
