Fantastic folk trio Leveret will be bringing their soothing melodic sound to a venue in Bristol at the weekend.

The band’s music combines ancient tunes with new compositions from some of the folk world’s most renowned artists.

The band is comprised of Sam Sweeney on fiddle, Andy Cutting on the melodeon and Rob Harbron on the English concertina.

They have previously worked with popular folk acts such as Jon Boden and the Remnant Kings, The Full English and Fay Hield and the Hurricane Party.

Each one of Leveret’s live performances is improvised, meaning no two of their shows are ever the same and audiences can expect a unique performance every time the band pick up their instruments.

Leveret will be at the Bristol Folk House, in Park Street, at 7.30pm on Sunday.

Tickets, priced £12.50, are available from the box office on 01179 262987 or online via www.folkhousemusic.com
