A musician and producer who has worked with a long list of stars including Paul McCartney and Kings Of Leon is performing in Weston-super-Mare next week.

World-renowned multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Ethan Johns is performing at Loves Café on May 23 with his band The Black Eyed Dogs.

Ethan Johns has produced albums for Paul McCartney, Kings Of Leon, Paulo Nutini, Ryan Adams, Ray Lamontagne, Rufus Wainwright, Laura Marling, Crowded House and Razorlight.

Alex and Adam Lipinski are supporting on the night. Alex said: "It's a privilege to be asked to open for Ethan.

"The man has produced and been involved in some of our favourite ever records and some of the best albums of the 21st century.

"He's certainly had an influence on us musically. It'll be a special night of live music in such an intimate setting."

Supper bookings start at 7.30pm, followed by music at 8pm.
