CLEVEDON’S bandstand will be the venue for one of hundreds of outdoor concerts to be held on Sunday to mark the end of the London 2012 Festival.

The festival has seen events put on across the country in conjunction with the Olympics and Paralympics throughout this summer.

On Sunday, Clevedon Brass will be at the Elton Road bandstand to entertain audiences from 2-4pm as part of a nationwide bandstand marathon.

London 2012 Festival director Ruth Mackenzie said: “The bandstand marathon is encouraging local music groups to showcase their talents and be part of the London 2012 Festival.”
