A group of Bristol mods will host a night of music in aid of Penny Brohn Cancer Care.

Never on Sunday will host a selection 1960s and 70s soul, ska and Motown music at 8pm on November 28 at The Station in Silver Street, Bristol.

The group, which met at a café in the city during the late 1960s, have been reunited after years apart and after discovering that a former member had died of cancer and decided to host music events in his memory.

Paul Freeth-Selway, Never on Sunday member, said:” We are supporting Penny Brohn because they are a fantastic, local charity and we’re so impressed with how they help people with cancer.

“So grab a ticket and enjoy a fantastic night of music and nostalgia for a superb cause.”

Bristol-based ska band, Blak Flamez, will also perform on the night with all proceeds going to Penny Brohn Cancer Care.

Tickets, priced £12, are available by calling 07802 516251 or clicking here
