A ROCK ‘n’ roll band raised £170 for Clevedon Pier at a special charity gig.

Twenty Flight Rock are now looking forward to their next performance, at Portishead Working Men’s Club on December 29.

The band features Chris Waring on guitar, Martyn Perryman on the drums and Mark Limb on the bass.

The 50s rock ‘n’ roll band formed in 1981 and has played all over the country and Europe as well as touring Butlins holiday camps for two seasons.

They had a number five hit with Goosebumps in London’s rock ‘n roll charts in the 1980s and have released several albums.

The band members write their own songs, but mainly perform covers and list some of their musical inspirations as Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent.

Martyn, from Clevedon, Bristolian Chris, and Mark, from Midsomer Norton, are now looking for more gigs closer to their home towns. If you want to book Twenty Flight Rock, call 07787 576145.
