A PROLIFIC but underrated band with a massive live following will be hitting Bristol in their first UK tour in two years.

Bombay Bicycle Club will be releasing their fourth studio album in February, and will be performing at the O2 Academy the following month.

The North London outfit are festival favourites renowned for their eclectic style and innovative material.

Those traits are again demonstrated in the new record, penned by frontman Jack Steadman while travelling through India, Turkey and Japan – all cultures which had a tangible impact on the material.

These ‘beautifully crafted and ambitious’ songs – typified by current single release Carry Me – will be showcased during the Academy date on March 12.

Tickets cost £19 and are now on sale from and as well as via 0844 8110051.
