High-octane films celebrating outdoor adventures will be screened in Bristol this weekend.

The Kendal Mountain Film Festival Tour is coming to the University of Bristol Students’ Union building, in Queens Road, on Sunday from 7-10pm for an evening of endeavours in the wildest corners of the planet.

Six films will be screened focusing on activities such as surfing and whitewater kayaking, followed by a Q&A with Kenton Cool and Jenny Graham.

Kenton is one of the world’s leading high-altitude climbers having successfully climbed Mount Everest a record-breaking 13 times, while Jenny is an endurance cyclist who last year shattered the women’s around-the-world cycling record crossing 18,000 miles around the globe, self-supported in just 124 days.

Tickets, priced £10-20, are available at www.kendalmountaintour.com/bristol-19 or on 01173 318647.
