The later years of legendary Hollywood actress Judy Garland will be brought to the screen this week, and readers could win tickets to see the film.
Judy, stars Rene Zellweger as an aging Garland, as she embarks on a five-week run of shows at London's Talk of the Town nightclub.
It has been 30 years since she shot to fame in The Wizard of Oz, but if her voice has weakened, its dramatic intensity has only grown.
As Garland prepares for the show, she battles with management, charms musicians and reminisces with friends and adoring fans, as her wit and warmth shine through.
Even her dreams of love seem undimmed as Garland embarks on a whirlwind romance with Mickey Deans, her soon-to-be fifth husband.
Featuring some of her best-known songs, the film celebrates the voice, the capacity for love, and the sheer pizzazz of 'the world's greatest entertainer.'
The Bridget Jones star has been tipped for an Oscar for her performance in the film which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival, in Colorado, in August.
However, the biopic's released without some controversy as Garland's daughter, Lorna Luft said she would not see the film.
In an interview with Good Morning Britain she said: "I'm really protective of my mum's legacy and legendary career,
"If you really want to know about my mum, go see her movies, listen to her recordings and, watch her television shows."
Judy will be shown at the Curzon cinema, in Old Church Road, on October at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £5-21, are available at www.curzon.org.uk or on 01275 871000.
The Times has teamed up with the Curzon to offer one lucky reader a pair of tickets.
