Despicable Me

IN A happy suburban neighbourhood, surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn.

Despicable Me

Unbeknown to the neighbours, hidden beneath the home is a vast secret hideout.

Comedy animation Despicable Me (U) follows the tale of a small army of minions and the tale unfolds at The Curzon Community Cinema in Clevedon from this week.

Gru is planning the biggest heist in the history of the world – he is going to steal the moon.

Gru delights in all things wicked and armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way.

But he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that nobody else has ever seen – a potential dad.

The world’s greatest villain has just met his biggest challenge.

Despicable Me features the voices of Steve Carell, star of the 2005 film 40 Year Old Virgin,
British comedian Russell Brand and legendary actress Julie Andrews. It will be shown in Clevedon from Friday until October 31.
