A disco will be held next week to raise money for WaterAid.

Portishead’s first Dance for Water disco night will be held at Somerset Hall in The Precinct on June 29.

Long-term supporter of WaterAid, Wendy Sergeant, is organising the entertaining event after a number of successful Sing for Water choir performances.

Wendy said: “I am hoping our Dance for Water disco will boost the superb fundraising efforts of our 800-strong Big Sing performers.

“It would be wonderful to raise as much money as possible for the life-changing charity WaterAid.

“We hope to attract up to 200 people to the event in Somerset Hall, and it should be a really fun night.”

Dance for Water will get underway at 7.30pm and will include a meal.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from Morgan-Westley in High Street or alternatively email sergeant.wendy@gmail.com
