Studios and venues are opening up their doors for two weeks to enable art lovers to immerse themselves in a variety of different works.
Pink pennant flags will fill the streets to lead people to the venues participating in North Somerset Arts Week.
The event runs until Sunday and brings together more than 200 artists displaying their talents across 45 exhibitions.
This year, enthusiasts have the opportunity to own one of the artworks on display by taking part in the Arts Week Treasure Trail Competition. Each venue will display a letter clue, which treasure-seekers must collect before solving an anagram.
The lucky winner will be given £150 towards the artwork of their choice from one of the participating artists.
A North Somerset Arts spokesman said: "This is our flagship event revealing the wealth of talent within our local art community.
"This year it is bigger and better than ever and we are hoping for record numbers of visitors across the 10 days.
"Many make a concerted effort to see all our venues so we are excited to offer the opportunity to win some original art by entering our new treasure trail."
Entry forms and details are available in the brochure and bonus clues will be given out on the North Somerset Arts Facebook page.
Brochures are available to pick up in different venues around North Somerset.

Another new feature this year is the launch of the Arts Week App featuring an interactive map.
Enthusiasts can find out more details and photos from all the artists involved, along with directions on how to find them.
The app is free to download and the event can also be tracked on Twitter at #NSAW19 #followtheflag
North Somerset Arts would like to thank Sustainable Kitchens and University Centre Weston for their contributions and support in making this event happen.
