ART lovers have the chance to browse and buy locally-produced pieces while raising money for a national armed forces charity during an event in Tickenham.

An exhibition and sale of artwork will be held in the village hall in Clevedon Road from Friday to Sunday with all proceeds to be donated to Help for Heroes.

More than 200 artists have been invited to take part and it is hoped the exhibition will be as successful as in previous years, when money has been raised for charities including Save the Children and MacMillan Cancer Relief.

One of the exhibitors will be Liz Riley (pictured) of Love Unlimited at Clevedon Craft Centre.

The event will begin with a preview held between 7-9.30pm pm on Friday with a £2 admission including light refreshments.

On Saturday, the exhibition will be open from 10.30am-8pm and on Sunday between 10.30am-4pm. Admission for these days is £1.50.
