A 96-year-old former teacher from Clevedon is exhibiting some of his artwork in Weston-super-Mare.

Ron Wright has joined up with Redhill-based Jennifer Davidson to organise a show-stopping display of their talents.

Davidson describes Wright as a ‘brilliant’ artist with a ‘super active’ brain.

She added: “He has a fantastic imagination but does not shout about it.

“Ron’s work is very unusual – quite quirky – but I do not think he has had a proper exhibition of his work before.”

The exhibition will focus on imaginative and colourful painting and prints by the two artists and is now open.

An art exhibition of imaginative colourful paintings and prints will be held at the Old Town Quarry, in South Road, from now until July 13.

The exhibition is scheduled to be open from Wednesdays to Sundays each week, from 10.30am-4.30pm.
