ONE of the hottest rising stars of the UK music scene, John Newman is set to bring his sublime soul/pop blend to Bristol.
Having shifted more than 500,000 copies of his number one single Love Me Again, Newman is bringing his unique vocals and a full band on the road to perform his hit album Tribute, which includes the new single Cheating.
The singer-songwriter pens his own material and has been making music since the age of 14.
Originally from the Yorkshire Dales, Newman cites his influences as including James Brown, Prince, Black Keys and Dangermouse and his sound has been praised by critics for being fresh and unique.
John Newman will be at the O2 Academy Bristol on January 28 from 7pm.
