FAWLTY Towers star John Cleese will return to the stage to present tales from his new book – and we have tickets to give away.

The Weston-born funny man will share his thoughts on a variety of subjects from the book So Anyway, from the merits of cricket to the importance of knowing the dates of all the kings and queens of England.

Comedian, actor, writer and film producer John Cleese is perhaps the most iconic figure in British comedy of the past 50 years.

He formed the Monty Python troupe, and together they made Monty Python’s Flying Circus, and he then went on to make Fawlty Towers, one of the best-loved sitcoms of all time.

The comedy legend has since written and starred in films such as Clockwise and A Fish Called Wanda.

Cleese will be on stage at Bristol’s Colston Hall on December 21 at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced £31.71 which includes a booking fee, are available from the box office on 0844 887 1500.
