Forever In Your Debt explores the issues of money lending and debt, and was filmed in Weston last year.

It will premiere at The Curzon Community Cinema on February 27.

The story is told from the perspective of a young mother struggling to keep financially and emotionally afloat, with the script drawing upon the experiences and stories of people from Weston.

The film, which features locations from across the town, is the brainchild of the Theatre Orchard group, the BoCo theatre company and Homespun Productions, while organisations such as Alliance Homes, Knightstone Housing, Weston Town Council, Awards For All and the Express Community Fund were all involved.

Speaking after filming was completed last September, script writer and director Vincenzo Pellegrino said: “It’s a gritty story we’re telling but I have worked with community actors from Weston on several occasions, and they unfailingly bring a humour and resilience to the process that will no doubt shine through our final cut.”

The premiere will start at 5pm. Entry is free but donations are welcomed.
