Yatton were held to a draw by Nailsea in a close contest.

YATTON were involved a close contest against Nailsea, which saw them pushing for every goal.

It was all square after the first quarter at 6-6. Nailsea had a one goal lead at half-time, but Yatton came out fighting in the third quarter to go two ahead, aided by man of the match, Rachel Clark’s superb defending. Yatton tried hard to maintain their lead, but Nailsea fought to pull the match back level.

This was Yatton’s best result yet and a real boost for morale. It was a game for the defenders this week, with Kelsey Symes also voted players’ player.
