Truro race result

Wraxall Village Club birds were released from Truro, Cornwall, in their latest race.

WRAXALL Village Club’s young birds were liberated from Truro, Cornwall.

The winning bird came from the Shirehampton loft of Steve Bartholomew, winning the race with a speed of nearly 50 miles per hour. Mr & Mrs Paul Titcomb of Portishead had a good race with two in the top six, their first a bird of Belgium descent.

Twelve members sent 109 birds: Mr S Bartholomew 1432 yards per minute; Mr & Mrs P Titcomb 1384; Wyatt & Gray 1379; Mr D Moore 1369; Mr & Mrs P Titcomb 1363; Mr & Mrs N Stone 1363.
