Trio earn black belts at Portishead

Three juniors from the Portishead-based DKK Karate Club achieved their black belts.

Juniors from the Portishead-based DKK Karate Club completed their Shodan Ho black belt.

Sam Grigg, Lennon Manners-Lolly and Oli Davis have been training with DKK for the last 10 years and have finally achieved their black belts. Their instructor Gina Reinge, said: “I am thrilled they received their black belts, they train incredibly hard and thoroughly deserve this accolade.”

The trio train at St Peters School on a Tuesday evening and graded with their colleagues who passed their red, yellow and blue belt grading.
