THERE was a good turnout by the Clevedon AC members at the Weston Tough Ten.

The conditions underfoot, especially through the woods, were difficult. Also, the slip road to get back on the beach for the final 150m proved to be a stiff challenge.

Local runners were joined by the European elite athlete Jo Pavey at the Weston Prom Run. She set a new ladies course record of 26.29.
