TRIANGLE A and Rovers both recorded 6-0 victories this week to stay clear at the top of the Wrington Vale Snooker League.

TRIANGLE A and Rovers both recorded 6-0 victories this week to stay clear at the top of the Wrington Vale Snooker League.

Triangles’ victory was at Backwell Lucky 13 where Andy Sweet knocked in the week’s highest break of 34 and Darren Lowis was not far behind with a run of 33.

Rovers visited Clevedon Conservatives A where Mike Baker knocked in three 20+ breaks to help his side to the whitewash win.

Frames A stay in third place courtesy of a 4-2 win at Cleeve Corners for whom Reuben Hurse made a good come back in the fourth frame against Nick Ollerenshaw by taking the last four colours to win by a single point.

The Young Ones & Clevedon Conservatives B battled out a 3-3 draw with the home side going 3-1 up but Simon Cambridge hit back to win the last two frames to secure the draw.
