TWO Portishead Running Club members, Mike Robbins and Jane Roscoe, are back from completing the Pembrokeshire Coastal Challenge.

The event consists of three marathons over rough terrain in just three days, from Dale to Pwllgwaelod.

Torrential rain, ankle deep mud, glorious scenery (when the clouds lifted) and many, many hills were all features of the race.

Mike came in at 13th overall and 23rd for Jane. There were only 48 finishers from a total of 110 entrants.

Mike’s times for the three days were 5.28, 5.36 and 6.07, making a total of 17 hours and 11 minutes.

Janes’s times were 6:14, 6:50 and 7:24, making a total of 20 hours and 28 minutes.
