Tennis is on offer all-year round at Nailsea Tennis Club.

NAILSEA Tennis Club continue to offer a variety of opportunities throughout the year.

There is a substantial coaching
programme, for which the new terms have just begun, with sessions for tots, primary and secondary pupils plus adults.

Club coach, Matt Rogers, said: “It is important to have an all-year
programme to allow players to develop continuously. Also it helps attract and retain players as they are able to commit to an activity knowing that it doesn’t just take place during the traditional tennis season. The new year could be an ideal time to start a new activity.”

Nailsea pupil Noah Pring has had an excellent start to 2012, winning his first tournament of the year, a 16 and under event in Swindon. Playing a short sets format Pring, who was the top seed, started in style with a 4-0, 4-0 victory and then followed this with a 4-1, 4-0 win.

Pring then faced the second seed, Tom Williams of Warwickshire in the final, putting in another impressive display to claim victory 4-1, 4-0.

If you would like to find out more about the coaching, e-mail or visit the club’s website which has further club information.
