Tennis-playing brothers Ed and James Hardiman enjoyed a successful summer, winning many tournaments and titles between them.

BROTHERS Ed and James Hardiman have enjoyed a successful summer of tennis, winning many tournaments and titles between them.

Older brother Ed won the Under-18s boy’s singles title at Burnham and was runner-up in the men’s final. He also won the Avon County Championship at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex and he was triumphant in the Backwell Tennis Club final for the third year running.

James has had similar success, winning two tournaments in La Manga in Spain (Under-16s and 18s) and did the same in Jersey.

Ed is currently a sixth form student at Backwell School and James is in year 11. Both boys are No 1 in the county in their respective age groups and train at David Lloyd and Backwell Tennis Clubs.
