Wraxall Village Club’s latest race results.

WRAXALL Village Club birds were liberated from Tours (France) in what proved to be a bad race, with arrivals well spaced out.

The leading bird, a yearling, went to Worle member Phil Newton, completing the 320 mile flight in seven hours, 49 minutes.

13 members sent 116 birds: P Newton 1203 yards per minute (41 miles per hour); N Knight 1179; P Atherton 1175; B Isaac 1163; R English 1149; Wyatt & Gray 1138.
