A SINGLE point now covers the top three sides in the Wrington Vale Snooker League following a fine win by Frames A at Triangles A.

Frames’ Nick Ollerenshaw and Triangles Matt Powell shared the opening frames and Joe Jarad and Andy Sweet shared the next two to make the score 2-2. Jason Marsh completed the victory for Frames with the last two against Darren Lowis including the week’s top break of 40.

Peelers continued their fine run of form with a 5-1 win at Clevedon Conservatives A with Rich Powell and Steve Rees winning both their frames. The Conservatives point came from Rob Brown in the opening frame against Andy Jones who got revenge in the next.

Clevedon Conservatives B team consolidated fourth place with a 5-1 win at Backwell Lucky 13, while the Young Ones stay fifth after a 4-2 win at Cleeve Corners.

Jason and Paul Marsh went through to the pairs semi-final after a 2-1 win over Roy Jenkins and Irving Prowse.
