North Somerset finished runners-up to Keynsham in the men’s Summer League after another fine season.

Promoted a year earlier, they won at Shepton Mallett but then lost at Chippenham.

A draw with Yate was followed by five straight wins before a draw in their last match of the campaign.

Captain Rob O'Neill and Tim Graham played in all nine matches, with Harry Croker appearing in eight.

Lewis Francuz netted 10 times and Croker seven, as young Callum Black, Jack Colling, Dan Dudley and Dan Kaye all impressed.

Pre-season training is at Gordano School on Sunday (11am-12pm) and Tuesday (7.30-9pm) and open to all players and new members.

The club has teams at a range of levels for men, women and juniors, with qualified coaches and a range of opportunities available.
