YATTON threatened from the beginning and breaking from a rolling maul within the 22, Bill Osborne touched down after 10 minutes.

But within five minutes, a missed tackle allowed Quins to ground the ball, the conversion giving them an edge. Back up the park again, Ed Ryder’s quick tap penalty saw him cross under the posts with Nic Raymond’s easy conversion handed the lead back to Yatton.

Minutes later, wing Ben Coghlan gathered a clearance just outside his 22, he offloaded to Ollie Noble who timed the pass to novice first teamer Jez Leech to outpace the defence, creating another easy conversion to make the score 19-7.

With five minutes to go before half-time, the Quins scored two tries to cut the deficit to two points.

Three minutes after the turnaround, Quins took the opportunity of an overlap and to put themselves two points in front. One lapse on the 70th minute allowed Quins attacking line to cross the line and the conversion proved to be the final score.
