Clevedon Rugby Club enjoyed a week off before their top of the table clash against Weston at The Vale on Saturday.

Clevedon first team had a week off to prepare for their top of the table clash with Weston on Saturday.

This game will be first against second in the league and both teams have records a stake. Weston are unbeaten in the league this season and Clevedon are unbeaten at home, so one of these records will go this week.

The game will be played at The Vale with an early kick-off time of 1.30pm, so please make a note and come along and support Clevedon. Following the game, the England game will be shown on the big screen so why not stick around and enjoy the atmosphere.

Prior to the game taking place, there will be a president’s lunch (12.30pm), hosted by club president Mike Thomas.

The rugby committee would like to thank manager Sonny Johal of Bargain Booze, Clevedon, for their continued support of the players at Clevedon. This season they have kindly sponsored the training t-shirts for all of the senior teams.

Club coach Nick Hill said: “I would like to thank Bargain Booze for their sponsorship, it is important that as a club we actively involve local business.”
