After a good opening five minutes, Nailsea claimed the first score when Cam Coates crashed over from a ruck, with Sam Chidzey converting.

Good hands from the backs, followed by a scissors move and offload, put Coates over for his second try, but Nailsea then fell foul of the referee and conceded a host of penalties.

Once they managed to restore their discipline, Nailsea began to dominate once more, with Jay Wood claiming a brace of tries.

Harry Blackburn and debutant Oliver Sparkes also dotted down, with Chidzey producing some accurate kicking as Nailsea ran away with it.

Jack Watts also impressed on his first outing for the team, who raised hopes for a bright future this season with this opening performance.
