Nailsea & Backwell celebrate Jamie Sullivan's winning try against Yatton

Nailsea & Backwell came from behind to beat Yatton 35-32 in their local derby.

The visitors opened the scoring with a penalty then ran a try under the posts, before adding another converted try on 18 minutes.

Poor handling saw Nailsea waste a good chance to reply, before Yatton went 24-0 up.

And worse was to come and slick handling and strong running by Yatton's banks led to a try out wide, before a penalty in front of the post made it 32-0 at half time.

Nailsea had the slope in their favour in the second half and fresh legs, with Ryan Love touching down out wide for a try converted by Elswood.

Both sides had players sent to the sin bin before Luke Sharp crashed over and Yatton had another player yellow-carded.

Cleaves and Sharp went over for further Nailsea tries and, after defending for 10 minutes, the home side claimed victory when Jamie Sullivan went over for their fifth try of the game.
