Yatton 3rd XV showed good spirit to defeat Old Sulians.

YATTON 3rd XV showed good spirit which has continued to gel throughout the beginning of this difficult season.

A superb scrummaging platform from the travellers gave Yatton the edge, enabling both the forwards and backs to develop moves. Yatton’s three tries came from Kev Arnold and Kev Penfold while Stu Braine grabbed the third. Neil Serman returned from injury and slotted a vital conversion.

Man of the match J J Hill highlighted the eagerness of the whole team to gain this well-deserved victory.

Yatton 1st XV’s next scheduled game is a league fixture away against Barton Hill on Saturday, the 2nd XV face Wells 2nd XV at home, while the 3rd XV are due to travel to Old Culverhaysians 2nds.
