ROVERS are now just two points away from retaining the Wrington Vale Snooker League after defeating Peelers 5-1, where Mike Baker hit the week’s highest break of 43.

ROVERS are now just two points away from retaining the Wrington Vale Snooker League after defeating Peelers 5-1, where Mike Baker hit the week’s highest break of 43.

Frames A also won 5-1 against Clevedon Conservatives B, but could not close the gap. There were also wins for third placed Triangles against stable-mates Young Ones and for Cleeve Corners at Backwell Lucky 13.
