THE final week of the Wrington Vale Snooker League season saw a 21st win for Rovers with their 4-2 success over the Young Ones to confirm their championship by 19 points.

THE final week of the Wrington Vale Snooker League season saw a 21st win for Rovers with their 4-2 success over the Young Ones to confirm their championship by 19 points.

In second place, newcomers Frames A completed their debut season with a 6-0 win over wooden spooners Backwell Lucky 13, who have plugged away gamely all season despite the results not always going their way.

Triangle A ended up third and 
finished with a 3-3 draw with local rivals Clevedon Conservatives A. 
Peelers managed their best position for a number of seasons, a 5-1 win over Cleeve Corners consolidating their hold on fifth place.
