Rob completes Cornish coastal trail

Clevedon runner Rob Grubb completed a challenging trail race along the South West coast path.
Clevedon Athletic Club runner Rob Grubb recently took part in the Black Rat trail race in South Cornwall.
The 32-mile coastal run was part of the Roseland August Trail (RAT) Race Series, which offers a variety of challenging distances along the stunning South West coast path. Rob finished well, crossing the finish line in 30th place in six hours 30 minutes.
Nigel Charman and Francesca Rawlings competed in Bath at the Two Tunnels Railway Races. Nigel took part in the fast and flat 5k event, finishing in ninth position in 21.34 and achieving a fantastic second place in his age group.
Fran went for the half marathon distance on a course that takes competitors through the tunnels, along the Avon & Kennet canal and into the heart of Bath. She finished second lady in a great time of 1.35.47.
