Gordano School pupil awarded South West Muay Thai title.

LOCAL teenager Rob Bonefaas, who attends Gordano School, recently travelled across the bridge to Wales to compete for the junior South West area Muay Thai title @ 55kgs.

Bonefaas had a tough first round against his opponent Kevin from Chaos Gym in Plymouth. Kevin showed he meant business by catching Bonefaas with some heavy knees to his mid-section and strong clinch work.

Bonefaas stepped it up through the following four rounds, 
putting together some great 
combinations which frustrated Kevin and led him to make 

Bonefaas capitalised on this and with his technical ability 
was able to outclass Kevin. The judges decided on a unanimous decision in Bonefaas’ favour and awarded him the South West Area title.

Rob trains and fights out of Combat Gym in Weston. Chief instructor Kevin Ludick was extremely proud of Bonefaas and feels he has a great future ahead of him.
