Portishead Town Ladies maintained their strong start to the FA Women's National League (South West) season at Buckland Athletic.
The home side were quick off the mark and scored from a corner in the first minute, but Posset responded soon after as Rosie Hill levelled.
Portishead had built a 5-2 lead by the interval and, although Buckland enjoyed their best spell containing the visitors after the restart, they added three more goals in the last 10 minutes to run out 8-2 winners.
Shannon Holloway led the way with a hat-trick, while Hill and Lulu Watts both scored twice and Emily Lindsay was also on target.
The Robert John Hairdressing player of the match award, sponsored by Priority Football, went to Hill.
Portishead travel to Cambridge United for a League Cup match on Sunday.
