The Chairman’s team showed more attacking intent in the first quarter, but neither keeper was tested too much.

The second quarter saw Lee Hooper combine well with Lee Chambers to score three goals, with Hazell finding the net from a short corner in the second half.

The final quarter saw chairman Joe Merrett go through on goal and loop a shot past the keeper, before a late penalty flick completed a 5-1 win for the Chairman’s side.

A club spokesperson said: “It was great to see lots of the club involved and for us to have a breadth of members from all teams playing.

“Hopefully next year we can have even more to enable some subs to be available and even more integration throughout the club.”
