Nailsea & Tickenham are continuing preparations for the new season with further training sessions and friendly fixtures.

Joint managers Jamie Smith and Nic Steadman were able to observe several potential new players in a 4-1 victory against Winscombe last Thursday.

Joe Berry scored twice as further goals from Luke Osgood and Nathan Hughes sealed the comfortable win.

The Swags are now looking forward to games at Worle on Saturday and against Clevedon Town next Tuesday.

"Pre-season training has been excellent so far and the players enjoyed a great first run out last week," Smith said.

"We will need a bigger squad than last season with the increased demand at Western League level, and we hope to have some new additions this week."

The club recently presented end of season awards to Manager's Player Berry and Players' Player Ollie Carter, while the reserve team Manager's and Players' Player awards went to Harry Summerill,
