Nailsea Tennis Club members got into the festive spirit ahead of Christmas

Archant

Nailsea Tennis Club began their Christmas celebrations at the weekend as members enjoyed mince pies and mulled wine – as well as some tennis!

All members were encouraged to wear fancy dress, with a prize given out for the best outfit on the day.

And the club's junior coaching programme continues to grow, with the number of sessions increased due to demand.

Head coach Tom Fowler will be running two Christmas camps this month, with the first of them on December 21, from 9-10am (4 to 8 year olds) and 10-11am (8 to 14 years), before a matchplay competition for over-12s (11am-12pm), at a cost of £5 per person.

The December 27 camp takes place from 1-2pm (4 to 8 year olds) and 2-3pm (8 to 14 year olds), with LTA accredited coaching and all youngsters welcome. Racquets will be provided.
