Nailsea Running Club gear up for annual Festival

Nailsea Running Club are gearing up for their annual Festival Beer and a Banger 10k at Nailsea & Backwll Rugby Club next month.
The event has been staged for over 20 years and takes place on Friday June 21 and this year will also see a 6k race offered.
The races start at 7pm from Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club, West End, with the entrance to the car park for runners being in Engine Lane.
Facilities include changing rooms, showers, bar, barbeque and first aid, with entries open to all aged 18 or over.
Costs, via fullonsport.com in advance, for the 10k are £10.91 for ARC/UKA-affiliated runners or £13.09 for unaffiliated (includes booking fee).
For the 6k race the costs are £8.67 and £10.79 respectively.
On the day registration opens at 5.30pm and will cost £12/£14 for the 10k and £10/£12 for the 6k.
Every runner will receive a sausage in a bun and beer (or wine/soft drink) and the race has attracted nearly 200 runners in each of the last two years.
