Nailsea Hockey Club Under-10s enjoyed a successful tournament, remaining undefeated in four games.

NAILSEA Under-10s were inspired in their new kit when playing in their third festival of their first season.

Showing just how quickly they are improving, they won three matches 1-0 and drew the other one 0-0.

Katie Henderson and Ellie Richardson were solid in defence, while Saskia Lawrence, Paige Richardson and Johnny King were lively and supportive in midfield. Up front, Ben Warren and Kieran Jelliss kept battling and running, proving too much for the opposition to handle.

The goals were scored by Ben Warren, Saskia Lawrence and Katie Henderson, who only played 10 minutes in attack.

NAILSEA Ladies 1st XI defeated Firebrands 3-0, with goals from Ali Hill (2) and Helen Harrington.

The 2nd XI game away to Old Bristolians was cancelled due to a frozen pitch.
