In the dry practice conditions, Connor struggled a little with power, but still managed quick times.

Sunday’s race day was to be wet and Connor was able to show his class amongst the 40 strong field of drivers. In tricky conditions, he managed to secure third place on the grid for the main final.

At the start, Connor made up a place and then dived into the lead at the first hairpin bend, only to be forced off the track and back to fourth place and mud all over his tyres.

He soon composed himself and got himself back into second place, as the leader had managed to open up a healthy lead. Connor was matching the leaders pace, but unable to close the gap. He had, however, opened up a six second gap over third place and settled for second place.

Connor will now be spending the next few months training and testing ahead of the Rotax Winter Cup in February at the Campillos circuit in Spain, where earlier this year he finished second in his first international race.

Connor is now looking for new sponsors for the upcoming season, e-mail for further details.
