PORTISHEAD Running Club entered two runners in the recent Military 10k, held near Usk in Wales and organised by British Military Fitness.

PORTISHEAD Running Club entered two runners in the recent Military 10k, held near Usk in Wales and organised by British Military Fitness.

This was a challenging course with a lot of hills, forest trails, some deep mud, camouflage nets to crawl under and even some smoke grenades were let off for extra effect.

About 220 people entered the race, and Matt Crocker managed to finish second overall in a time of 48.44 minutes.

The other entrant, Richard Nuell, finished in 126th place, in a time of 1.21.44.
