Mark Vincent, a Portishead snooker player, is looking to make his way into the professional snooker circuit.

A PORTISHEAD snooker player is looking to make his way into the professional snooker circuit.

Mark Vincent is presently ranked in the top 10 elite English amateurs and in the top 16 European players and has qualified for the professional rounds of the last three PTC events.

At his last event in Bulgaria, Mark won through to the last 64 of the professional tournament, before losing 4-2. He will now be straight into the pro rounds in Scotland in two weeks time.

At the moment Mark is funded by himself and has to work a large amount of extra hours to enable him to compete at this level. His coach and mentor Ray Dando believes Mark is good enough to make the grade next year.

Mark is looking for local traders to help sponsor him in his quest. If anyone is interested, please e-mail raydandosnooker@hotmail.co.uk or phone 01633 549027 or 07946 173356 and ask for Ray Dando.
