Clevedon Athletic Club runner Maria Powell wins a marathon at her first attempt.

CLEVEDON Athletic Club member Maria 
Powell entered the Neolithic Marathon in Wiltshire, and came away as first lady 
home in a time of 3.37.07 in her first 

Castle Combe duathlon times: Alan Baker (88th) 55.53; Paula Hill (128th) 1.01.24; Hayley Marriot (129th) 1.01.45; Jim Cahill (133rd) 1.02.15; K Daniels (143rd) 

GWR Towpath 10K: Andy Ewing (139th) 48.30.

James Rodgers took part in the Great Manchester Run and finished in 70th place in a time of 33.17.

Bristol 10K: Nicolas Saillard (63rd) 32.43 PB); Stuart Leaney (83rd) 33.54; Paul Bird (118th) 36.12 (1st V40); Mark Drewitt (144th) 37.01; Simon Hancock (276th) 39.37; Neil Wallace (573rd) 42.30; Andy Tancock (2,841) 51.01 PB).
