Tennis: Lee lifts Most Improved cup at Portishead LTC

Olivia Lee won the Most Improved Player cup for 2018 at Portishead Lawn Tennis Club recently.

The youngster received her prize at the club’s AGM from head coach Mike Greedy, who explainned he had chosen her as she had done so well, physically and mentally, over the past season.

The award usually goes to an adult player, but Lee lifted the silverware after winning 11 out of the 12 games she played, having shown a great attitude at all times.

The club, which is based at the Lake Grounds in Portishead, are holding several open days and other events in the new few months an encourage anyone to come along.

National standard players and those who have never even picked up a racket are equally welcome, as well as all ages from three to 100!
