Yatton put up a brave fight against Bobbies in the ladies netball premier league.

Yatton 2 - 21 Bobbies - 44

A POOR start by Yatton 2s against the
well-established Bobbies in the Premier League saw Yatton 21 goals down by

Nic Pavey made a gallant effort as goal shooter to rest the injured Celia Heath for half the match, scoring a few cracking goals from the edge of the shooting D.

Yatton matched Bobbies goal for goal in the third quarter with Heath and Milly Ball hardly missing and some good feeds into them from Jackie Griffiths playing centre.

Player of the match Amy Telega (WD) had a brilliant game, with the strength she added to the defence, helping Charlie Sale and Rachel Clark fight back in the last quarter to try and close the gap, but just missed out on a point for getting within 50 per cent of Bobbies’ score.
